How do I get my Blackboard password reset?
Initially, your Blackboard password is set to your 8-digit birth date (mmddyyyy). To have your password reset, contact:

I can't see my courses in Blackboard - what should I do?
First, check to make sure you are logging in with the correct URL - http://blackboard.egr.uh.edu .
Also, not every Engineering class uses Blackboard - check with your instructor or TA.
Due to scheduling during the first few weeks of classes, there may be a lag period of 48+ hours from the time you register for a course and the time you have access to the Blackboard coursesite.

I am not receiving email thru Blackboard.
The email address in Blackboard defaults to the UH alias. Make sure that a valid email account has been designated as a "destination" address in PeopleSoft. To check or update your email:
• Go to www.uh.edu/myPeopleSoft and login to PeopleSoft.
• Once logged in, select UH Self-Service .
• Select Campus Personal Information .
• Follow the instructions to update your Phone Number and Email Address. You must have at least an updated Destination address at
>>which you can receive official UH email.
• Update the information and click the Save button.
• Sign out from PeopleSoft.
